This Artist & Band Membership Agreement explains how Out There Entertainments, also referred to as “OTE”, “we”, “us” or “our”, works with performers, musicians, entertainers, DJs, singers, bands, hosts and artists who join, claim or use a profile on our platform.
This is a plain-English working agreement. It is designed to make sure both Out There Entertainments and the Artist understand how the platform works, what is included, how profiles are managed, how bookings are handled, how membership tiers work and what is expected from each side.
By signing up, creating an artist profile, claiming a profile, submitting your details, using the platform, accepting booking opportunities through OTE or maintaining a membership, you confirm that you have read, understood and accepted the terms set out below.
Out There Entertainments is a modern entertainment platform designed to connect clients with talented local performers. From DJs and singers to bands, hosts and entertainers, our website helps clients discover, browse and book entertainment for events in one simple place.
The platform also supports artists by giving them a professional online presence, increased exposure, booking opportunities and access to member benefits. These may include professional artist profiles, directory placement, regular promotions, gig opportunities, discounted studio time, creative service discounts, custom merchandise options, sponsorship and partnership opportunities, and dedicated artist support depending on the membership tier selected.
The platform works best as a two-way partnership. OTE can help promote you, showcase your act and put you in front of potential clients, but artists are also expected to keep their profiles updated, respond to opportunities, provide accurate information and represent themselves professionally.
OTE is a promotional, directory and booking support platform. It is not your employer and does not guarantee work, income, bookings or enquiries.
Nothing in this agreement is intended to create an employment relationship, partnership, joint venture or exclusive agency relationship between OTE and the Artist.
OTE operates a public artist and performer directory. This directory allows clients to browse profiles, explore styles and experience, and choose entertainers that best suit their event.
Some profiles may be created using publicly available information to help artists be discovered through the platform. These profiles are classed as unclaimed or unofficial until the artist, band or act claims the profile or contacts OTE to update, activate or remove it.
Where OTE creates an unclaimed profile using publicly available information, we will only use information that is relevant to the artist directory and platform purpose. Artists can request to claim, update, correct or remove their profile at any time. Further details about how OTE handles personal information are set out in our Privacy Policy.
If you find yourself, your band or your act listed in the directory, you can contact OTE to claim your profile, update your information, activate membership benefits or request removal.
Unclaimed profiles are not eligible for membership perks, platform support, promotional benefits or paid membership features until they have been claimed and activated.
OTE will make reasonable efforts to ensure directory information is accurate, but artists are responsible for checking and updating their own claimed profiles.
The OTE Artist Membership exists to:
Promote and showcase local entertainers and performers.
Give artists a professional profile within the OTE platform.
Help clients browse and book entertainment more easily.
Provide structured promotional and marketing support.
Create opportunities for paid bookings and public exposure.
Offer access to discounted services, creative support and professional tools.
Build a platform where both clients and artists benefit from a clearer booking process.
OTE is here to help enhance your visibility and support your growth, but we do not guarantee bookings, income, enquiries, social media growth, performance slots, sponsorships or specific results.
Signing up to the OTE platform is free.
Artists can create a profile, appear in the directory and start building visibility through the Promotional membership without paying a sign-up fee or monthly membership fee.
The free Promotional membership gives artists a simple way to get started, be seen and receive suitable opportunities through the platform. If an artist wants access to additional creative support, studio discounts, wider promotion or higher-level platform benefits, they can upgrade to a paid membership tier.
Paid memberships also have no separate sign-up fee. The monthly price shown is billed annually unless clearly stated otherwise.
OTE currently offers three membership tiers. These may be refined, expanded or adjusted over time as the platform develops.
Current pricing: Free to join. No monthly membership fee.

There is no separate sign-up fee for the All In Elite membership. The membership is billed annually unless otherwise stated.
The All In Elite tier is designed for artists who want a more supported platform experience with increased visibility and access to higher-level opportunities.
OTE may offer different ways to use the platform depending on the membership tier, promotion or agreement available at the time.
These may include:
A free Promotional membership.
Paid annual memberships for Musical and All In Elite.
Commission on confirmed bookings made through the platform.
Where a paid tier is selected, membership is billed annually unless clearly stated otherwise. This helps OTE plan promotions, manage profile activity, organise opportunities and maintain consistency throughout the year.
Where a free Promotional membership is active, OTE may take commission from confirmed bookings made through the platform. The current Promotional commission rate is 40% on confirmed platform bookings, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Unless agreed otherwise, commission is calculated from the confirmed artist booking fee for the booking introduced, managed or confirmed through OTE. Any expenses, travel costs, deposits, VAT treatment or additional charges should be agreed as part of the booking details before confirmation.
Where a paid membership is active, any booking commission, service fee or administration fee will be explained before the booking is confirmed, where applicable.
Membership applies to one artist, performer, entertainer, host, DJ, singer, act or band only. Each artist or band must have their own profile and membership.
Paid memberships are billed annually unless otherwise stated.
Paid memberships may renew unless cancelled before the renewal date, where renewal has been agreed as part of the sign-up or payment process. You may cancel your renewal before the next billing period. Cancelling stops the next renewal but does not automatically refund the current paid term.
Because profile setup, platform access, promotional activity and membership benefits may begin shortly after joining, refunds are not normally provided once access, profile work or membership benefits have started.
Nothing in this agreement affects any statutory rights you may have. Where any cancellation, refund or cooling-off rights apply by law, OTE will follow those requirements.
If you ask OTE to begin profile setup, platform access, promotional work or membership services straight away, you understand that charges may apply for work already started or services already provided where permitted by law.
If you wish to cancel, downgrade or discuss your membership, you should contact OTE using the details provided in this agreement.
OTE reserves the right to remove, suspend or deactivate a profile if there is a breach of this agreement, misuse of the platform, non-payment, misleading information or behaviour that could damage OTE’s reputation.
OTE is designed to make the booking process simple for both clients and artists.
Clients can browse the directory, view artist profiles, build their own event, select preferred performers or services, choose a date and submit a booking request through the platform.
A typical booking process may work as follows:
A client submits an enquiry through the OTE website or contacts OTE directly.
OTE reviews the enquiry and identifies suitable artists.
OTE may contact you with the event details, including date, location, timings, event type, performance requirements and any special notes.
You confirm your availability and provide your fee or quote where required.
OTE presents the pricing to the client, which may include your fee plus any OTE commission, service fee or administration charge.
If the client proceeds, OTE may help confirm the booking details and payment process.
You attend and perform the booking as agreed.
OTE pays your agreed artist fee in line with the agreed payment process.
OTE may help manage the front-end enquiry, communication and booking process, but OTE is not your employer, legal representative or exclusive agent.
Artists are paid for confirmed gigs performed through the platform in line with the agreed booking terms.
Payment amounts, payment timing, deductions, commissions or service fees will be confirmed as part of the booking process.
OTE may deduct agreed commission, service fees or platform fees before paying the artist where applicable.
Artists should not assume a booking is confirmed until OTE has confirmed the details and any required payment or deposit arrangements have been completed.
If a booking is cancelled, postponed or changed, payment will depend on the cancellation terms, timing, client agreement and any specific arrangement confirmed for that booking.
Once a booking is confirmed, the performance itself is your responsibility.
This includes:
Arriving on time.
Supplying suitable equipment unless otherwise agreed.
Performing to the agreed standard.
Communicating clearly with OTE and/or the client.
Managing travel, setup and pack-down.
Behaving professionally at all times.
Following venue rules and event requirements.
Ensuring your act matches the description, style and service promoted.
Providing any required insurance, documents or compliance information.
OTE may introduce, recommend or book you, but your conduct, quality, reliability and performance remain your responsibility.
OTE works hard to promote artists and build opportunities, but you understand and accept that:
OTE does not guarantee bookings.
OTE does not guarantee income.
OTE does not guarantee a specific number of enquiries.
OTE does not guarantee social media growth or engagement.
OTE does not guarantee performance slots.
OTE does not guarantee press coverage.
OTE does not guarantee sponsorships or partner opportunities.
OTE is not responsible for client decisions, cancellations or changes.
The platform is designed to create visibility and opportunity, but results depend on many factors, including demand, client preference, availability, pricing, location, genre, quality of profile, artist engagement and wider market conditions.
You are responsible for providing accurate and appropriate information for your profile.
This may include:

Videos.
Music links.
Social media links.

This may include use on:

You keep ownership of your original materials. OTE is given permission to use them for promotion connected to your profile, membership, platform presence or bookings.
If you leave the platform, you may request removal of your supplied materials and OTE will action this within a reasonable timeframe, unless the material is required for record keeping, past campaign records, completed booking evidence or legal/admin purposes.

Treat clients, venues, audiences and OTE staff with respect.
Respond to enquiries in a reasonable timeframe.
Honour confirmed bookings.
Represent yourself honestly.
Avoid behaviour that could damage OTE’s reputation.

Rudeness or abuse.

Poor communication.
Misrepresentation of your act.
Inappropriate online behaviour.

Failure to deliver an agreed booking.
Serious misconduct may result in removal from the platform without refund, subject to any statutory rights that may apply.
OTE invests time into building the platform, promoting artists and creating opportunities. In return, artists are encouraged to support the platform where reasonable.
This may include:
Sharing your OTE profile link.
Tagging Out There Entertainments in relevant posts.
Mentioning OTE when promoting confirmed bookings.
Using OTE-created promotional materials appropriately.

Share relevant opportunities where suitable.
Manage general website enquiries.
Represent your act honestly based on the information you provide.

These may include:
Discounted studio time.

Perks, discounts, sponsorships, merchandise options and partner opportunities are subject to availability and suitability. Inclusion in a paid tier does not guarantee that every opportunity, partner offer or campaign will be available to every artist.
Unclaimed and unofficial profiles are not eligible for OTE perks unless they are claimed and activated.
OTE may suspend, deactivate or remove a profile if:
The artist breaches this agreement.
The artist behaves unprofessionally.
The artist submits inappropriate content.
The artist misuses the platform.
The artist receives substantiated complaints.
The artist damages OTE’s reputation.
The profile contains inaccurate or misleading information.
The profile owner requests removal.
Membership payments are not made when due.
If a profile is deactivated, it may be reactivated at OTE’s discretion once any issues have been resolved.
If an unclaimed or unofficial profile is removed following a valid request, OTE will remove it within a reasonable timeframe.
Artists may request profile deactivation or membership cancellation by contacting OTE. Deactivation may remove the profile from public view, but OTE may retain records where needed for admin, legal, booking, accounting or dispute-resolution purposes.
OTE is a promotional, directory and booking support platform. It is not an employer and does not control the artist’s performance, conduct or business operations.
