The Big Eyes Family Players

The Big Eyes Family Players are a Sheffield-based group formed in 1999 by multi-instrumentalist James Green, originally beginning life as the experimental project Big Eyes before evolving into a folk-influenced collective in 2006. Best known for their acclaimed traditional releases Folk Songs (2009) with James Yorkston and Folk Songs II (2012), the group have built a reputation for blending experimental, avant-garde and traditional folk influences across a varied body of work.
