Sophie and the Giants is the artist project of English singer-songwriter Sophie Louise Scott from Staines-upon-Thames, who launched the act in 2015 and later developed it into a solo-led project with a strong pop and dance identity. After early releases including Monsters and the Adolescence EP, she gained wider attention with “The Light” in 2019 before achieving major international success through collaborations with Purple Disco Machine on “Hypnotized” and “In the Dark.” Since then, Sophie and the Giants has become known for a string of high-energy, crossover dance-pop releases, including tracks with Benny Benassi, Dardust and R3hab, helping establish Sophie as a standout voice in the European dance music scene.
